Coolant temperature: 92 °C Intake air temperature: 20 °C Ambient air pressure: 1000 mbar Voltage terminal 30: 14.460 V Unlearning counter according OBD: 40 Accelerator pedal travel: 0.00 % Coolant temperature at radiator outlet: actual value: 26.5 °C Heat delivery temperature in cooling system: -273.1 °C Outside air temperature: 14.5 °C
The failed temperature sensor is integrated inside the AD Blue Tank and you cannot change this sensor out at the component level. The part number that contains this sensor is 561-198-970. This temp sensor monitors the temperature of the DEF fluid and if it drops below -11 Degrees Fahrenheit then it activates the heater inside this tank.
Start your coolant flush by draining the coolant / antifreeze that is in your reservoir, then drain the coolant that is in your radiator by opening the petcock or removing the lower radiator hose. This video shows where the radiator drain plug (petcock) is located on a 2013 Audi Q7. Fill up the radiator with distilled water and run the engine.
**** Raise & support the vehicle safely according to Manufacturer Jacking & Supporting Positions!!! ****http://fkh161.ca/ Step 4 – Replace coolant temperature sensor. The sensor is located under the intake tube, and you will see it through the narrow space you have. It is held in place by a c-clip. Insert your flat head screwdriver, then push the clip to the side towards the windshield to open it. Try to put your hand in to catch the clip.

Item 6 is the ECT aka Engine Coolant Temperature which drives both the gauge in the car and provides input to the Engine Control module. Assuming you have an ALH engine, the ECT is on the driver's side of the head on the back side.

Code P0544 denotes a detected general malfunction within the EGR temperature sensor circuit on bank 1, sensor #1. This P0544 DTC refers to Bank #1 (which is the side of the engine that contains cylinder #1). Related codes are P0545 (circuit low) and P0546 (circuit high). An EGT sensor is found on most late model gas or diesel engines.

the two sensors you have shown are correct. There will be one more (MAF sensor) which is usually located on the air line, but i don't know where it is on the Q. Let us know how you like the racechip once you figure this out. Reply Like. 04-03-2018, 06:48 PM. # 3. 1 1. Q7 MK 1 Discussion - Q7 2007 3.0 TDI Outside temperature problem - Hi, I have a problem with outside temp. I replaced outside temp. sensor, but problem still exist. Any sugestions welcome. Thanks in advance Please see the youtube video Audi Q7 outside temperature problem - YouTube.
TSB ID: A191665 2039018-. 10/21/17. A small amount of dry or crusted coolant is seen on the coolant pump housing. the coolant level warning is not on. a minor coolant leak is possible during the break-in phase of the coolant seal on the coolant pump. 2019 RS5 Sportback.
Cold air starts coming out of the passenger side vent then all the other vents and the engine oil temps starts climbing up about 20-25 degrees more than the normal. The coolant temp is kind of stuck at 190, which I saw at an earlier post above. I slow down to 45mph and the oil temp drops down to the normal range. Drop off vehicle again.

Step 2 - Connect Digital Volt-Ohm Meter. Testing the coolant temperature sensor is a very quick process. With the use of a digital volt-ohm meter you can easily tell if the sensor is faulty or not. Connect the black lead of the digital ohm meter to a solid grounding. This can be any solid piece of metal.

The powertrain control module (PCM) provides a 5 volt reference and a ground to the sensor. The PCM monitors voltage drop to determine coolant temperature. If the ECT reads less than freezing temp. when engine has been running for more than a few minutes, the PCM determines a circuit fault and sets this code. Or if the PCM determines the sensor

The other is underneath the intake manifold and is VERY hard to get to. You can't even see it unless you at least take off the throttle pipe in front, then you can kind of get to it.
