Consumers Reports ranks the current Mazda 6 as having higher anticipated reliability than the current Honda Accord, if that tells you anything. Generally speaking though, yes they are on par with your typical Toyota or Honda for reliability, but unlike Honda and Toyota, Mazda does not make cars that are uninteresting and uninvolving to drive.
